The Wildlife Series celebrates some of America's most iconic and distinctive game animals in a piece that's both functional and  collectible. The bottom of the pan features a cast image of a deer that makes a beautiful display. A kitchen’s most essential item, this skillet is the perfect size for everyday cooking on the stovetop or in the oven.  

Pre-seasoned and ready to use Lodge Cast Iron skillets are manufactured  under tightly controlled metal chemistry and exacting mold tolerances to deliver a consistent product for even heating and superior cooking performance.

This 26cm skillet is traditionally styled with a sturdy integral oven proof handle and pourer channel each side of the rim.

Care Instructions:

• Foundry seasoned, ready to use upon purchase.
• Use on all cooking surfaces, grills, and campfires (including induction).
• Oven safe.
• Sauté, sear, fry, bake, grill and stir fry to heart’s content.
• To care for your Seasoned Cast Iron:
  • Hand wash and dry immediately—even before first use.
  • Rub with a light coat of vegetable oil after every wash
  • How much oil? Enough to restore the sheen, without being “sticky”. Why? To keep the iron “seasoned” and protected from moisture.
  • It's okay to use a little soap when needed, just make sure you dry thoroughly and apply a little oil afterwards.

Nestled alongside the Cumberland Plateau of the Appalachian Mountains is the town of South Pittsburgh, Tennessee in the U.S.A (population 3,300). It was here that Joseph Lodge and his wife settled and, in 1896 opened his first foundry.  They created a legacy of quality that has thrived through two World  Wars and the Great Depression and is still carried on by his family today.
